Who we are

Our story began in 2022 founded by architect Gareth Reid on a passion for architecture and design. On the core belief that a well designed space can greatly influence the users long term wellbeing and happiness.

Gareth took a conscious decision to setup the practice, moving away from highly commercially-driven briefs and contractor led material selection and agendas.

Gareth’s objective for Home Architecture Studio is to develop lasting professional relationships with our clients by getting to know them and understand their needs, wants and aspirations.

Through this collaboration, a considered design is developed, crafting something bespoke and personal for each project.

What we do

The practice specialises in domestic residential work, predominantly focusing on extensions/renovations.

We believe it is important to have an architect involved when considering adding an extension to your home or tackling a major renovation.

Moreover, a poorly designed and executed extension or renovation can possibly devalue your home. It is essential to consider the interior flow and exterior finish, while maintaining access to natural light as much as possible.

Home Architecture Studio doesn’t just consider the additional square footage you require. We evaluate the space to ensure a functional and practical interior flow to suit your family needs. We’ll better organise your exterior spaces, highlighting views and improving the external appearance.

Adding more square feet isn’t always the answer. We believe that with some investment and design knowhow, new functionality and invigorating space can be created within your current home.

We enjoy taking our projects the extra mile. Be that taking the time to craft bespoke interior solutions for furniture or storage, exploring landscaped ideas or creating better relationships with your garden.
